Projekti tarkastelee my\u00f6s, mit\u00e4 tehokas, automatisoitu julkinen liikenne vaatii toteutuaksen s\u00e4\u00e4d\u00f6sten ja asetusten osalta.<\/p><p>Sohjoa Baltic -projektipartnerit tulevat Suomesta, Virosta, Ruotsista, Latviasta, Saksasta, Puolasta, Norjasta ja Tanskasta. Kumppanit ovat julkisen liikenteen suunnittelun, lains\u00e4\u00e4d\u00e4nn\u00f6n ja teknisen alan asiantuntijoita, joilla on valmiudet mahdollistaa autonominen liikenn\u00f6inti omilla alueillaan.<\/p><p><p>Sohjoa Baltic -hankkeen toteuttamisen aikana automaattisia minibusseja kokeillaan osana julkista liikennett\u00e4 kuudessa It\u00e4meren alueen valtiossa.<\/p>\n\n<p>Autonominen bussi ajaa ennalta ohjelmoidulla reitill\u00e4\u00e4n kuten hissi. Se skannaa ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6\u00e4\u00e4n varmistaakseen, miss\u00e4 kohtaa reitti\u00e4 se menee ja onko edess\u00e4 tai sivuilla esteit\u00e4.<\/p><\/p><p><p>Havaitessaan esteen, automaattibussi voi tehd\u00e4 kaksi p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6st\u00e4: hidastaa vauhtia tai pys\u00e4hty\u00e4 kokonaan. Se ei ohjelmoi itselleen uutta reitti\u00e4 eik\u00e4 siten pysty esimerkiksi kiert\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n v\u00e4\u00e4rinpys\u00e4k\u00f6ity\u00e4 autoa.<\/p>\n\n<p>Kokeilujen aikana bussin sis\u00e4ll\u00e4 on ihminen, joka tarvittaessa ottaa bussin ohjauksen k\u00e4siins\u00e4. Niinh\u00e4n oli hisseiss\u00e4kin aikanaan hissipojat tai -tyt\u00f6t, kun teknologia ei viel\u00e4 ollut kypsynyt t\u00e4ysin itsen\u00e4isesti toimivaksi.<\/p><\/p><p>Sohjoa Baltic -projektia rahoittaa EU:n Interreg \u2013 Baltic Sea Region -ohjelma.
